How to Batch Process Multiple Files

Batch processing lets you queue up many files — a folder of podcast episodes, a stack of interviews, a week of meeting recordings — and let ScribeForge work through them in the background instead of one at a time.

Setting up a batch job

1. Open Batch Process in the sidebar.
2. Add files by dragging in a whole folder, selecting multiple files at once, or pasting a list of URLs (YouTube playlists and channels work here too).
3. Pick a model and language to apply to the whole queue.
4. Click Start. ScribeForge processes items in order, showing progress per file.
5. You can pause, resume, or cancel the whole queue at any time, and retry any individual item that fails.

What happens when it's done

Every finished transcript lands in your library exactly as if you'd transcribed it individually — searchable, taggable, and exportable. You can bulk-export the whole batch to your format of choice in one action from the Library screen instead of exporting file by file.

This is a Pro feature

Batch processing is included on paid plans. It pairs well with Watch Folders if you want new recordings transcribed automatically without even opening the app.
